Quite honestly this has been the best part of today so far.
Today has been a hard day.
This parenting thing is not always easy.
Or fun.
Rachel got her immunizations yesterday and I had very minor surgery, also yesterday.
This means both of us are slightly uncomfortable.
And very grumpy. And Rachel is feverish.
Add in a toddler who is also in a bad mood for some undefined reason.
(I refuse to accept it's because
"Daddy washed the dirt off my apple!")
It does not make for a good combination.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
