Here are some of my favourite moments and photos from 2013.
In January we went to the Butterfly Conservatory and I took a hilarious picture of Rachel. It still makes me laugh out loud!
In February we had a huge snowstorm and even the universities were closed.
In March, we bought a house!!!
In April my parents were visiting and Sam, my mom, and Rachel made buns, and then Sam, Rachel, and I made Pinterest-inspired Earth Day cupcakes.
In May, I got a flying lesson for my birthday, enjoyed tea with Donny, Marika, and Dave, and we spent an awesome day gardening with Tim, Janice, Tessa, and Willem. And our whole family participated in the "Run For Relief."
In June I enjoyed going for tea with Janice in Stratford and with Dave at Langdon Hall for our fifth anniversary, Rachel turned two with a rainbow-themed birthday party, and we enjoyed hanging out at the Classic Mile in Cambridge where Tessa was running.
In July, Sam, Rachel, and I went to Saskatchewan for a visit. We visited my elementary school. Back in Ontario, we met up with some dear friends from Edmonton for Canada Day and we went to Thomas' Day Out and visited a beach with another set of good friends.
In August we moved and I began my love affair with my laundry line!
In September, Sam started Junior Kindergarten and Rachel started preschool and we enjoyed our first family bike ride.
In October I enjoyed setting festive Fall tables with my Fiestaware, my parents and the kids planted strawberries, and we enjoyed an afternoon playing in the leaves.
In November we walked the LOGOS labyrinth.
In December we celebrated an early Christmas with my parents in Saskatchewan.
I love that you can see the seasons changing through the pictures :) Looks like 2013 was a pretty good year - and here's to 2014 being the same!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great year! I'm so glad that I've really got to know your family through your blog over the past year.
ReplyDeleteI have the Jesus Calling Devotional by Sarah Young. I'll try to follow along with you! I can't tell you how many times I've turned to that book for just the right encouragement! : )
ReplyDeleteI always love reading everyone's recaps post. I always think it's so fun to reflect and see where everyone's been. And I'd almost forgotten out your flight lessons, and now of course remember how much I wanted to do one when I first read about it, and still do!
