On The Fifth Night Of Chanukah...

...we lit five candles on the menorah.
...Sam and Rachel each got a present.
...Sam got two more planes to go with his airport.
(And he's been playing with them for an hour and a half now!)
...Rachel got a sea life puzzle.
...Rachel stole the number 2 candle as I was trying to take an artistic picture of the Chanukah candle finger puppets Dave's aunt sent to us. Ha ha ha!

  1. Oh my, your kids and their smiles are so cute! And monsters or aliens, those pajamas are still adorable, Sam!

  2. It was fun to visit your blog (thank you for visiting mine too! I visited a few of your previous posts because I saw Saskatchewan in them... I married a Canadian, born in a small town about 35 miles from Prince Albert. (and I, born in New Jersey!) and we even lived 5 years in Saskatchewan - my brief foray into being a farm wife (New Jersey girl learns about farming..) and now in Minnesota - a happy blend for us. Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas.

    1. I'm so curious where your husband was born and where you guys lived?! I lived in Saskatoon until Grade 12 when I moved to a Mennonite boarding school in Rosthern, so I totally know that area! Minnesota seems a little more prairie-ish than New Jersey-ish to me though :)

    1. Yeah, she's a fast one! And it's only annoying when I want something to stay in place for longer than two seconds. Or I don't want her to have something :)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
