Four Gifts

I'm sorry to bombard you with posts today but I just saw a really cute link up from E, through my bloggy friend, Erika, and I have fifteen minutes until the rice is ready for supper so I have some time. I'm not talented enough, nor do I have enough time, to do the whole graphic thing so bear with my (stolen from the internet, although credited) pictures. (Also note that really I don't NEED anything and would rather just have things like world peace/no global warming/end to global hunger and things like that but I'm going to be materialistic and needy instead.)

1. First of all I NEED a digital SLR and an instruction manual (class/tutorial) on how to use it for taking awesome pictures. If you've seen the pictures on the blog, then you know how pressing this need is. Ha!

2. I WANT more flannel bedding. It is soooo cold in our (very old, potentially insulation free) house. This green plaid bedding from LLBean is really pretty :)

3. To WEAR I would take one or two (or three or...) of these awesome sweaters from Mark's Work Wearhouse. I have been drooling over them in the flyer for about three weeks now. I just am really cold this winter (and the COLD temperatures haven't even hit yet. Brrr.) And I would like this sweater in "Jester Red" because that is the best colour name ever!

4. To READ I want the entire JD Robb In Death series because I am tired of always having to get them out of the library. Ha! (And I didn't even know there was a new one coming out until I went looking for this image. Yay for new books by a favourite author.)

  2. Fun! We are trying to employ that principle for C's Christmas gifts, but I haven't thought about it for myself. :)

  3. Good picks!! I loooove our new flannel sheets. They're just cheapies from Target, but sooo soft!! And considering it's still like...oh, 55 degrees at night...it's not like they're exactly NECESSARY all the way down here. :) More like the thought that counts!

  4. I have the DSLR already but I so need a class/one on one tutor to know how to use it. Love your blog.

  5. I would definitely agree that a DSLR class should accompany ALL DSLR purchases! (unless of course you're a professional!) I bought one several years ago and still take all my photos on auto. As many times as I read and re-read about all the manual options, it's like reading Arabic!

    Merry Christmas!

  6. Awww, I hope you get everything on your list! I love that DSLR, but I still need a class. I don't know any technical stuff. ;-)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
