Daily Photo: January 29 - February 4, 2019

January 29, 2019 -- Ever since August, Rachel eagerly looks forward to when Andrea from Momfessionals blog releases new Doodletown pages for holidays. This evening she loved colouring the new Valentine's Day ones.
January 30, 2019 -- I had to pick up flowers for one of my coworkers and then our gathering was cancelled due to weather. So I got to keep the flowers. I don't buy orchids for myself but they were fun to take pictures of.

January 31, 2019 -- This was the day that I discovered that getting Rachel to help Sam practice his French spelling words was a win for everyone!

February 1, 2019 -- My first challah baking attempt.

February 2, 2019 -- Both kids settled onto the couch with Calvin and Hobbes comics as soon as we got home from the library.

February 3, 2019 -- We needed to eat leftovers this day. And we had lots to choose from. Ugh.

February 4, 2019 -- It was gorgeous out yesterday (11C/51F -- for posterity), and after school the kids, some friends, and I went for ice cream. When we got home a lot of the snow in our backyard had melted and this rabbit was just hanging out. I know we will get more winter but it was a lovely reminder of spring after our cold of last week.

  1. I love that you are back to doing these photos a day because you know I love the peek into your lives that it gives. That challah bread looks delish, and I really want some of Dave's French toast from it. I love your parenting techniques...I wish Evan would help Brody with his spelling and vocabulary work. It isn't as easy to get an almost teenager to help apparently. Sigh. Yes, that may be a warning for you in the next couple of years. (Wink) And yes, that bunny steals my heart! Am I wrong that this has been a milder winter for you guys? I know you are happy about that, right? Here's to an early Spring! :-)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
