Sam ate seven olives, some lamb, some pork, and a couple of spanakopitas.
Rachel enjoyed cutting the pork with her knife but didn't enjoy the spanakopita! Ha ha ha!We finished off the meal with ice cream, which I don't think is particularly Greek but the kids seemed to enjoy it! We love Greek food. Next year I think we will try to go later in the day so we can watch some of the dancing. While we were there, there was just a band playing, but we had fun anyways! Opa!
Looks like such a fun day. I think I need some Greek food now.
ReplyDeleteYUM!!! I love Greek food!!!
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely DROOLING over the olives. I LOVE OLIVES!!! Ryan took me for Greek food on one of our first dates; I was skeptical, but I enjoyed it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Greek food and it is one of Sam's favourite foods! He loves olives and feta!
DeleteMy favorite is the stuffed grape leaves....so good! :)
ReplyDeleteYum! I love olives, olive oil, and most Greek food. We actually have a Greek Festival here but have never been. And you know, the fact that your kids call Grandpa "Opa" kind of makes you sound Greek. ;-) Ice cream should be appreciated by every culture. Maybe pretend it was gelato...they probably eat that there although technically it is Italian, right?
