The younger party guests each got to decorate a hat. I am totally going to the store where the mom got the hats to buy one for our New Zealand trip. If I get crazy, I might even festoon mine with clip on flowers and fun ribbons, like these girls got to! Ha ha ha!!!
Cupcakes were served in teacups and saucers, and then the teacups were filled with tea, of course. It was such a fun party. And best of all, some of us adults were inspired to start planning a tea party for us grownups. If it actually happens, I am so going to wear my newly acquired hat :)
So cute! This was what I had initially planned for C until George mania took over.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to do more girly things with Avery - and hopefully more sitting still than Davis allows :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! hats are so lovely, loved the design.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. My friend hosted the party so the ideas and the hats were all hers!
DeleteOh my goodness! That is way too much cuteness. I love the idea of a tea party for little girls!
ReplyDeleteI love tea parties for little girls! It is/was definitely at the top of my list of little girl birthday parties to do! I actually bought my niece her first tea set for her first Christmas present...she was only 6 months old and filled a cup with drool. Haha! I also bought her a dress up "trunk" full of dress up clothes with hats and scarves and other accessories like this for her 3rd birthday. I am totally into all the "girly" stuff! :-)
