Daily Photo: October 15 - 21, 2019

This post is coming later than I had intended because I stayed up way too late watching the Canadian election results roll in. Ooops.

October 15, 2019 -- Sam was home sick from school this day (a bad headache). After a two hour nap (very rare for him), I convinced him that some fresh air would be good. We walked to pick up CSA and Sam and Rachel were thrilled that they got to help crack garlic. (You have to crack the bulbs and separate the cloves. Then they are planted for our garlic next year.)

October 16, 2019 -- We had a last minute change of plans and ended up meeting Dave at work this day. I love this shot looking up at an old staircase.

October 17, 2019 -- The colours in our area right now are amazing! This is the view down our street. I really do love this time of year.

October 18, 2019 -- It's so nice when you have a personal butler to bring you a heated up comfort bag, a bottle of cold water, and the iPad you left downstairs!

October 19, 2019 -- Our church small group has an annual tradition of going to a fundraiser called Empty Bowls for Haiti. It's a supper where you pick up a pottery bowl and get to eat lots of different soups. Then at the end of the night, you get to keep your bowl. I love this tradition.

October 20, 2019 -- Did I mention I can't stop, won't stop, with capturing all the fall colours around here? Sorry (but not really).

October 21, 2019 -- It was voting day here in Canada. We always take the kids with us to vote and this year we had a friend along too.

  3. Are you happy with your election results? I realize as I'm reading The Residence that you are very up on our politics and have zero clue about yours! (We Americans are so self-centered)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
