I Spy: Week 48

I was hoping to write most of this post last Thursday when I wasn't working all day. However, I spent the entire day getting things done and didn't really take a break for fourteen hours. Then I was too tired to blog. It was a busy week for us last week, what with celebrating Channukah every single night, and Rachel dancing in The Nutcracker. You will see some of that in this post.

As always, I'm linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook for her I Spy linkup.

Let's Play iSpy 2021

{starts with U}

We don't often have unsalted butter ("starts with 'u'") on hand but with the holiday baking, I've gone through about 3 pounds already with more to come.

{red}

I finally got my holiday wreath put up last week and had fun capturing the "red" ornaments.

{small building}

During the month of November, Rachel spent quite a bit of time turning a cardboard box into this "small building" for her plastic hedgehog. I don't know if it's finished or still a "work in progress" but I love her creativity.

{sweet}

Now that it's December, we've had Christmas potpourri going almost constantly. It makes the whole house smell "sweet."

{your choice}

There's a lot of light on the sixth night of Channukah, especially when you have two menorahs!

  5. Your ornament photo and the glowing candles are just beautiful! I used to simmer scents like that on our stove when we lived in our last house and we were trying to sell it. I heard that homey scents help and I love to have potpourri simmering.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
