Project 364: Days 256 Through 263

September 14, 2014 -- I know I'm biased, but I really do think Rachel is one of God's cutest sheep :)
September 15, 2014 -- I was not at all thrilled to pull out hats and mitts for Sam and Rachel for our walk to school this day. Blah.
September 16, 2014 -- Those of you who read my blog last year, when I did my "41 Before 41" list, may remember that I wanted to make meals for my church's meal program. Well, I finally completed that task with 4 meals of chili. Better late than never, right? Right?!?!
September 17, 2014 -- Sam showed us how he builds houses and garages out of blocks during "Meet The Teacher" night at his school.
September 18, 2014 -- Sometimes you need to wear your aprons when you run to the neighbours' to borrow some sugar while baking.
September 19, 2014 -- I can't wait to tell you about our day at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada in Toronto. Until then, here's just one photo to whet your interest.
September 20, 2014 -- I wanted a new Fall cover photo for Facebook. This one, from our tour of a fruit farm, didn't make the cut but I like it anyways.
September 21, 2014 -- Our denomination started a new Sunday School curriculum this year, and our church decided to provide each child, from age 2 to Grade 3, with their own copy of the accompanying story Bible. Sam was so engrossed in his, it was hard to convince him to get ready for bed.

  1. I love that picture of apples!! And I'm jealous that you get to pick apples (or see them at a fruit farm?)!! But I'm not jealous of your mittens and hats already. :)

  2. Rachel is definitely a cute sheep! And I may need to try that chili recipe. I have been really wanting some chili lately and would like to make some, but I imagine I'll be the only one eating it. Brody may eat a little. I actually read a review from another blogger about Trader Joe's vegetarian chili and actually decided to give that a shot for now. I actually had a bowl yesterday, and it was pretty good. Your recipe sounds divine though. :-) Oh and tell me if that Ripley's Aquarium is as expensive as the one down here. We always think we may visit the one at the beach but still haven't because I hate how expensive it is. Sigh. It does look like we may get a chance to spend the night in the big Aquarium in Atlanta next summer with Evan's boy scout troop and sleep under the shark tank though so we'll see. Maybe Erika can take you if you visit on your southern tour next Spring. :-)

  3. Sounds like a good week! Rachel was a cute little sheep! So, are you all putting your shorts away for the rest of the year now?

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
