I Spy: Week 17

It's time for another round of I Spy Photos with Lysha at at A Camera and A Cookbook. I wasn't feeling great at the beginning of the week (yay allergies and vaccine after effects) and then I was working at the end of the week (YAY work!!!), so I took all these pictures within half an hour last night before supper. Enjoy!

Let's Play iSpy 2021

  {Backyard (Spring)}

If you want to see our backyard in winter (from Week 4), go here. I much prefer this look in the spring :) However, I do wish we'd had taken the time to mow the lawn. It's been a little cold this week, so hopefully this will happen soon.

{Working it}

 The kids were absolutely "working it" while putting dishes away last night! Hahaha!!!

Our supper was a bunch of leftovers all mixed "together" to make a new dish.

I didn't know what to capture for "light" and then I saw the shadows cast by the tree on the garage and I loved it. I got this in one shot!

{Your Choice}

For my choice this week, I thought I would show off our glass birds. The one on the left is one my parents bought us in Germany and the one on the right is one Dave and I bought in New Zealand seven years ago.

  1. I love your glass birds! So pretty :)

  2. Love those kids 'workin' it', and so nice to see your glass kiwi - I've never seen one like that before. CarolG

  3. The kids are so funny. Love your glass birds.

  4. I love that light capture! What a neat shadow effect.

  5. I really need to join a photo challenge like this so I can improve my photography skills! Love all of these shots!

  6. Good Friday and a Vaccine- more signs of hope! :)

  7. Great pictures (as always)! The week got away from me, and I didn't do Week 17, but I'll pick back up for Week 18. I really love linking up with other blogs and find new people to connect with!

  8. Love the 'working it' pic! Looks like a lot of fun with a chore I don't like. I really like your 'light' pic with the shadows.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
