I Spy: Week 39

I feel like we're slowly making progress on getting into a routine. I still have things I feel behind on, and don't look into our corners because our house desperately needs cleaning, but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe! I was so excited because I thought I would actually get this post done for last Saturday. As you can see by the fact that I'm posting this on Thursday, that didn't happen. However, I'm still linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook.

Let's Play iSpy 2021

{cook}

I really was planning to "cook" one night last week. However, Sam suddenly said, "I want grocery store sushi for supper" and our plan changed quickly :) And yes, none of this fancy sushi for us! Hahaha!!!

{outside}

Dave's parents gave me a miniature rose last year for Mother's Day. It was supposed to last for one summer. This was the rose, still blooming "outside," last Friday. I'm wondering if it will survive a second winter and come back next year too...

{hair}

For the past few weeks, Rachel has wanted me to French braid her "hair" after her shower so it will be wavy the next day. I really wish she'd just keep her braids in because I think she looks so cute with them.

{shadow}

Rachel had a friend over on Friday afternoon and I asked them to help me out with the "shadow" prompt. Be thankful you can't hear the howling which accompanied these two wolves!!!

{your choice}

I don't buy near as many sunflowers in the fall as I do tulips in the winter, but I had to document that I do purchase a few, every once in awhile.

    1. It's so funny because I can only do French braids which sit on top of the head, as opposed to the ones which tuck under. Supposedly I braid "backwards."

  7. Adam once gave me a miniature rose plant for Valentine's Day. It lived for years, surviving in my mostly-dark apartment constantly neglected, while I traveled for work. Then we got married, moved to our new home, I gave it sunshine, and it promptly died!

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
