I Spy Photos: Week 9

I didn't mean to be so late with my I Spy Photos this week. I just didn't make the time to write my post on Friday night and then yesterday got away from me. As always, I'm linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook.

Let's Play iSpy 2021

{scrambled}

This one takes some explanation. Even though we had three months to wash the dance costumes, they needed to be handwashed so I avoided it. Thus, on Friday night Dave and I "scrambled" to get Rachel's costume washed in time to return this weekend. I caught this water dripping from the tail as it dried.

Also, this is where I wish I had editing skills because this could be a lighter photo but I don't know how to do that.

 {sparkle}

When I saw the "sparkle" prompt I knew I wanted to get a picture of the ornaments on our outside tree. When the sun hits them just right, they can reflect in our living room even.

{kitchen object}

I liked the way the light reflected off this apple corer, sitting on our island, and it makes this every day kitchen object look much more interesting.

{get low}

I went to wake Sam up one morning and spied the sunlight shining off the wall and onto the tulips. I had to "get low" to get a picture where the flash wouldn't go off. This reflected light only lasted about three minutes so it was definitely a fleeting moment.

{your choice}

A friend brought some gourmet popcorn to us last week and I enjoyed seeing it in the different coloured Fiestaware bowls.

  3. I love the way you captured the lighting behind the tulips! I feel like those are precious moments when you see those that last only a few minutes. Love the sparkly ornament, and that popcorn looks really tasty.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
