I Spy: Week 44

Usually for my I Spy posts, I try to be really intentional about taking specific pictures for the prompts. However, this week is a random hodgepodge of photos I've taken and me trying to make them fit the prompts. How did I do?!?!? As always, I'm linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook.

Let's Play iSpy 2021

{vintage}

I have to admit, I was really struggling with this one. This morning however, I realized that not only do we still have a home phone, but we also have an external answering machine, which I think many people might consider "vintage."

{seasonal}

We got flu shots the other day and Wal-Mart had these skeletons dressed in Christmas pajamas, Santa hats, and reindeer antlers. I laughed so hard when I saw this!!! Props to Wal-Mart for attempting to be "seasonal."

{zigzag}

I really didn't know what to do for this prompt and then Dave and I went for a run. Knowing that my app tracks my route, I told Dave we were running a "zigzag." Did we succeed?!?!?

{collect}

In our city, we're able to "collect" all our leaves and rake them to the curb. Then the city "collects" them for us. Rachel was enjoying throwing our leaves up in the air. And then we had to rake again! Hahaha!!!

 {your choice}

This fall vista caught my attention as we were driving to get haircuts the other day. I just love the dried corn and the trees in the background. I could have used this one for "seasonal" as well.

    1. I'm so glad we're done our flu shots for the year. And thankfully my arm wasn't too sore after, which is HUGE!

  4. I've done that with prompts a time or two as well and you did a great job getting your photos to match the prompts! Landline and external answering machine definitely seem to fall under the vintage label.

    1. I'm glad you all see the "vintageness" of our home phone. I was so stuck on that one.

  6. I notice the skeleton is enjoying all that attention too with a great big smile! Love your Rachel in the leaves too. What a great idea to have a community collection for the leaves. CarolG

  7. Those skeletons in the pjs must have been a sight. Great interpretation of the prompt. I am so behind on my iSpy and vintage is one of the prompts that has me struggling. I should just take a selfie and be done with it.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
