Daily Photo: May 14 - 20, 2019

Once again, I need to start my blog post today with a disclaimer. I'm blaming allergies, Sam being sick with a cold, yard work, and a potential big life transition for my lack of blogging. Speaking of "potential big life transition," if you all want to send up a prayer at 10:00am today for peace of mind, calmness, and clarity for me, I would really appreciate it. By the end of this week, either nothing will have changed or a big thing will have changed and I am trying to be okay with either outcome. Yikes.

And with that vague blogging, I'm going to catch up on my daily photos which ideally, I would have posted last Tuesday.

May 14, 2019 -- This would have been my Grandpa Krahn's 105th birthday. For some reason peonies always make me think of him. Ours weren't in bloom yet this spring but they were close.
May 15, 2019 -- Our neighbours have a magnolia tree and I love it. It's so pretty.
May 16, 2019 -- I don't remember why being in bed at 6:35pm was so exciting this night but I do remember that I wanted to get a picture of it. Ha!
May 17, 2019 -- Rachel was introducing Funny Bunny to a real bunny (in the upper right hand corner of the picture) and it was cute and hilarious at the same time!
May 18, 2019 -- Sam made a side dish from the Redwall cookbook to go with supper. It was Vegetable Casserole a la Foremole and it was really good.
May 19, 2019 -- Sam has been on a scone making kick lately and I'm not complaining about it! This day he baked Afternoon Tea Scones (with a pumpkin spice flavour) from the Redwall cookbook. We invited our neighbours over for afternoon tea and it was really fun!
May 20, 2019 -- We spent a lot of the morning doing yard work (and laundry!) and I was so excited about everything we got done. Yes, a "before, during, and after" yard work post is coming. Eventually :)

Hope your morning goes well - whatever the path, it will be the right one.

    1. I love that reading Redwall sent him down this path! It's been fun to help him develop this skill.

And thank you for your kind thoughts. I really appreciate them.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
