While we enjoyed lots of tasty treats in Vienna, perhaps the most exciting was our trip to a nearby eissalon (ice cream parlour) at the end of our first day in town. Not only was it a much-anticipated outing for the kids (okay, let's be honest, for the parents, too), but it was Sam's first taste of ice cream. Although he was a bit hesitant at first, he soon got the hang of it!
