Project 364: Days 68 Through 74

March 9, 2014 -- Through a friend on Facebook, I heard about the St Jacobs & Aberfoyle Model Railway. We went to check it out (a blog post coming soon), and I wanted to sit right down in this lovely picnic scene.
March 10, 2014 -- We went to East Side Mario's to celebrate Tessa's birthday!
March 11, 2014 -- We went out with Tim and Janice for a delicious supper to celebrate Janice's birthday.
March 12, 2014 -- "Following yesterday's springlike tease, winter's wrath has returned with near blizzard conditions in parts of the region." (a direct quote from the Environment Canada "special weather statement" (they've decided not to discourage us any further with weather warnings!)) My tulips were as depressed about the 15 centimetres (6 inches) of snow as I was.
March 13, 2014 -- I started getting sick this day. It wasn't until the next morning that I realized I hadn't taken any pictures, except for one I posted on Instagram. Then I remembered I took the picture below to send to someone who was interested in buying this attachment for a stroller. I am doing "40 Bags In 40 Days" for Lent and getting rid of this was a part of that. Sorry for the most boring photo ever but at least I didn't miss a day :)
March 14, 2014 -- Janice had e-mailed me the day before to ask if I wanted to go to tea with her in Guelph. Since Willem and Tessa offered to stay with Sam and Rachel, I said yes! This egg salad sandwich was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
March 15, 2014 -- After a crazy day of haircuts, spending the afternoon in bed (me), and cleaning the kids' rooms (Dave), we went to Costco and the grocery store. For supper, everyone chose a few items from the grocery store deli. It was a random assortment of goodness. Sam picked olives and sushi, strange child.

  1. I took my little dutch cousins to the model railway in the summer. What a neat project - I love the details of it!

  4. I'm loving this project! Is it just me or is this year going by fast? Ohhh...and before I forget. I saw that you are pinning a Southern Road Trip. When you get your plans laid out, please let me know. I'd love to meet up with ya'll.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
