She Could Hardly Wait!

Rachel had her first day of preschool yesterday. She will be attending one morning a week and she has been waiting for this day for months. She was pretty excited about it. Sadly, she decided that her backpack was "owie" right before I wanted to take pictures so she refused to wear it. However by the time we got to preschool she was all about wearing it again. She loved her class and talked about her teacher all the way home.
I love how it looks like she's contemplating her educational future in the above photo! Ha ha ha!!! I'm also glad that you can't tell from the photos that I almost forgot to mark this historical moment (gasp!) until about twenty minutes before it was time to leave. I'm so glad I remembered in time because I would have been sad to have no documentation of how happy Rachel was about FINALLY starting preschool. She's going to have a great year!

  1. I LOVE that backpack and may very well end up getting it for Avery eventually :) It's always calling out to me when I see it at Target, asking me to buy it!

  2. I love the pictures! She's so adorable!!! Karsyn will start a two day a week program next year. When she goes, it will be my first time in 10 years to not have a litte one at home with me. I have no idea what I'm going to do. Maybe you should do a few posts about what you do during your kid free time. =)

  3. So glad you got these pics to remember her big day! How cute is she!!! I kind of wish I got to pick out a cute bag for Brody, but his school wants them to all be the same and provides them. Hope she had a great first day! :-)

    1. Thank you! And I nearly had a panic attack when I realized I had almost forgotten. Thankfully the chalkboard was still written on from Sam's first day so I only had to change a few details.

    1. Thanks! Sadly she had to miss yesterday because of not feeling well but I'm hoping next week will be just as awesome for her.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
