As has become my new tradition on the first Wednesday of the month, I'm participating in "Currently" with Anne at in residence. You can find her blog here. This month we're talking about what we're choosing, imagining, making, recommending, and wearing.
[choosing]
[imagining]
Lately Dave and I have been imagining travel when these aren't our only options! I'm sure you've seen this one before but I just loved it. Also, a few different people have sent this to me and I can't find an original source.
[making]
[recommending]
[wearing]
Well a few times last week, I was able to finally wear my spring jacket. And I also left the house wearing just my running shoes!!! Whooo hooo!!! We're back to colder temperatures this week however (boo) but I'm keeping my spring jacket at the ready. Supposedly on Monday, our high will be 8C (46F) which is glorious!!!
(Clearly, I'm also still wearing my owl pajama pants whenever I'm at home! This was a staged photo since I didn't have a good one of me in my jacket and running shoes.)
And this is what is up with me "currently." What are you currently up to?
Definitely heading to the store to snag many tulips this weekend- thanks for being my inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI am seriously soooo happy about this!!! Enjoy them!!!
DeleteOh my gosh, a high of 46! That's our low...and I'm cold in that! Love the owl PJ's. Yes to tulips, I actually bought some really good fake ones off Amazon so I can see pretty tulips all the time :)
ReplyDeleteI love that meme of the travel books, so funny. We love puzzles too!
ReplyDeleteWe have a ton of puzzles and tend to start them but never finish them. I think the 1,000 pieces are too much for us and we need to go to 500 or less. I like your recommendation! Next time I'm at the store, I may just pick up some tulips. :)
ReplyDeleteThe travel books, ha! And I agree - 46 is too cold for my thin blood. Blueberry muffins with chocolate chips?!?! Send me some!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWe've become puzzlers, too! Totally addictive, I must say. Do you take yours apart and put them back in the box? We've been doing 1,000-2,000-pc puzzles. I want to take them apart...my husband doesn't. I love the process, but I don't necessarily want them to become my wall art! (And I have NOT seen that hilarious Lonely Planet pic. It took me a minute to realize what I was looking at it--and I love it! (Well, don't love it. But you know what I mean.) :)
ReplyDeleteWe do our puzzles on our dining room table so yes we take them apart. We keep them together for a couple of days to enjoy them but then I want my eating spot back! We like re-doing puzzles so we're trying to work our way through all of them again.
DeleteYes, it's nearly 50 here today and I am chomping at the bit to get outside. It will be wet and most likely muddy but I don't care. I really enjoy a good puzzle too.
ReplyDeleteDave and I went for a walk today and it was so beautiful out! Tomorrow they're calling for snow again :(
DeleteI need some tulips in my life. I am excited about the few times i have been wearing tennis shoes and not winter boots too
ReplyDeleteI get soooo excited to wear shoes again! And yes, get yourself some tulips!
DeleteLove your rec to buy some tulips! I might try and grab some this weekend. I love that you have become puzzle people. Warmer days ahead!!!
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely get some tulips! They will brighten these grey spring-like days.
DeleteTulips are so pretty! I have 2 puzzles I need to start!
ReplyDeleteI'm often wearing PJ pants these days. Tulips are very pretty - and I'm sooo ready for Spring to come.

I feel exactly the same way about tulips this time of year - it won't be till May that they actually bloom here, but I always start buying them now because we really do just need that in our lives in March :) Love the puzzle collection!
ReplyDeleteThose muffins look amazing. It was 53 degrees out today and I felt like I could put on a tank top!
ReplyDeleteThe kids wanted to leave the house without jackets and I had to give them the "It's not warm enough and no one can get sick right now" speech. It was about 4C (40F) so not all that warm.
DeleteLol I love your pajama pants! I am usually wearing my yoga pants around the house these days.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think you are right - I need tulips!
I think everyone needs tulips while we wait for spring! They're so bright and cheerful! And yes, those are my day pajama pants -- hahaha!!!
DeleteChocolate chips in a muffin is just heavenly - warm it up & let them OOZE
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are beautiful! The lockdown got us started on puzzles too and we love them!

I never imagined we would get so into puzzles but we've really enjoyed them!
DeleteThose tulips are so pretty! They are such a cheerful flower! Good for you for getting organized! I've been trying to tackle different parts of our house too! It's always a process!
ReplyDeleteOur house feels so much better now and it was something to keep us busy at home while the provincial lock down was in effect.
DeleteYour "imagining" is hilarious - I had not seen that photo before!
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard when my dad first sent it to me!!!
DeleteI am cracking up at those book titles. Also, I recently started adding not only chocolate chips but also a small amount of coconut and granola to my banana muffins and it's totally transformed them!
