Week 29: Family

I don't know what I'm supposed to write about for this one. You already know I'm married to Dave and we have two kids, Sam and Rachel. You also know I am very close to my parents, emotionally, if not physically! I've already written about my siblings.

So I thought I would take this opportunity to show you more pictures from the family photo shoot we had done in November. Our photographer, Jennie of Jennie Wiebe Photography, goes to our church. Plus she takes amazing pictures and has endless patience. You saw some of the photos earlier this week but here are some more. (By the way, we had 83 pictures to choose from and it was extremely difficult to pick.)

Rachel really wanted Jennie to take pictures of her on the swing and we just had to order one. This is the year where Rachel would just go out to the backyard and swing by herself so I love that we have this photo memory of it.
And Sam, of course, had to get a picture cheering by the baseball diamond. This is the summer we discovered baseball, and Sam, especially, fell in love with it. So this is also a precious photo memory of this time in his life.

And that is my family in pictures.

  3. I can't wait for the day when I have 83 good family photos. Thanks to a certain stubborn 2-year old, our 1.5 hour session netted... 8. I mean, they were a very solid 8. And it made our decision easier. But still!

  6. I love these photos. What a great photographer. And I am still waiting on my e-mail letting me know what you want for your new blog design. I assume matching colors of black, gray, and red? ;-)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
