Project 364: Days 47 Through 53

February 16, 2014 --Dave's guitar case becomes a fun place for the kids to hang out while he's playing guitar!

February 17, 2014 -- I love this picture of Willem I took at his birthday party! (And check out his friend in the background! Ha ha ha!!!)
February 18, 2014 -- Armed with a Coke, Cheese Sticks, and chocolate chip cookies, I attacked a large pile of forms to be filled out on behalf of my volunteer position. And I. Got. Them. Done! Yay!
February 19, 2014 -- We had our first Spring thaw and the giant icicle on the side of our house got much longer. I'm guessing that thing will be around until May.
February 20, 2014 --This is the only picture I took all day. Earlier in the evening Sam was clinging to my leg, crying his head off. What a cliche! When I grabbed for my camera, Rachel, who was in a much cheerier mood, took his place.
February 21, 2014 -- I love Sew Be It, our church's monthly craft night. Although I usually go through flyers, write thank you cards, or do a lot of things which aren't sewing. On Friday, I filled out my passport renewal application and some expense sheets for reimbursement.
February 22, 2014 -- Sam and I had a baking afternoon. Sam was thrilled to be making double chocolate chip cookies :)

  1. My husband who used to occasionally play the guitar, now plays a harmonica...less damage if the little one grabs it...ha. : )

  2. Your kids are so cute! I really like that one of your best nephew (that's what I call my best friends' kids) jumping up in the air! Are cheese sticks like Cheetos?

    1. Thank you! I love the term "best nephew." What a great way to describe those important kids in our lives. Cheese Sticks are like Cheetos but not as good so I don't know why I like them so much :)

  3. Your pictures bring me so much joy!!! I love seeing your life. And might I congratulate you on the FINE snack you chose to partake of while working on your paperwork. I couldn't have chosen better myself. :) Our wicked icicles finally melted off, but temps are dropping again, so maybe we're just starting over. :(

    1. Thank you for affirming my love of my Project 364. I didn't realize how important it would become to me. And yes, it was an awesome snack. Good thing I don't eat like that every night! And our icicle has just been growing. sigh.

  4. That picture of Willem looks like he is a proud member of the Canadian Olympic team with the flag behind him. :-)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
