Daily Photo: June 25 - July 1, 2019

June 25, 2019 -- I've already raved about the grilled romaine lettuce here but the rest of our CSA meal was pretty delicious too. Yum! These are my favourite summer meals.

June 26, 2019 -- Every year as an end of school year teacher gift, we donate a school kit in the teachers' names. We take a picture (like the ones below), and put them in the teacher's card. You can read more about school kits here.

June 27, 2019 -- It was FINALLY the last day of school! Whoooo hoooo!!! Our school always deems the last day a Canada Day theme so everyone is supposed to wear Canadian clothes. I wish we could pick our own last day of school outfits...

June 28, 2019 -- After years of planning, construction, and delays, the new Light Rail Transit (LRT) finally opened in our city. For the first week, it was free to ride it, so the kids and I took it A LOT on the first day of summer vacation. This night, our whole family rode the entire route. It was fun!

June 29, 2019 -- Happy 11th Anniversary to us! At a Blue Jays game :)

June 30, 2019 -- We had our belated Father's Day celebration this day. We made Dave a special breakfast casserole, he got to do what he wanted, and we ate every meal outside.

July 1, 2019 -- We didn't do anything too amazing for Canada Day (our country's national holiday), so here's a picture of our back yard. Dave mowed on Sunday so, except for weeding (and edging (again - ugh)) the flowerbeds, I think it's looking pretty good.
