Photo Of The Day - January 31 - February 8, 2018

Trying to pick photos for this past week made me realize that I need to write some blog posts about our cruise. It was so hard to pick just one photo for each day. Since we've been home, life has been much less exciting and too full of snow shoveling for much excitement. But the cruise was AH-MAZING. Here is just a small taste of things to come...

January 31, 2018 -- The first night of our cruise we celebrated with Mickey Mouse!

February 1, 2018 -- While we waited to take a picture at the Southernmost Point in the Continental US, Sam enjoyed watching the ocean.

February 2, 2018 -- After we left the Bahamas, we celebrated Pirate Night on the ship which ended with fireworks off the side. So fun!

February 3, 2018 -- It was too cold to swim this day but I liked getting this picture of this shell with the Caribbean in the background on Castaway Cay, Disney's private island in the Bahamas.

February 4, 2018 -- We had to say goodbye to our cozy stateroom on the last day of the cruise and none of us were very happy about it :(

February 5, 2018 -- While we had a ton of fun on our cruise, we were also all tired. I loved that Sam let Rachel rest on his lap on the plane.

February 6, 2018 -- Taco Tuesday means we always know what we're eating on Tuesdays!

February 7, 2018 -- If you've been around the blog for any length of time you may remember that I almost always have tulips in the house in January and February. I can get big bunches for relatively cheap at my local grocery store and they remind me that Spring will come. Eventually.

February 8, 2018 -- Despite being on the planning team, this was my first week back at our church's mid-week program. We celebrated birthdays this day and both Dave and Rachel got cupcakes. Sadly, I didn't even get a bite :( I'll have to remember that when it's my month to celebrate. Ha!

  2. This cruise looks fantastic. When you blog about it, I want to hear about all the kid entertainment. I’m well familiar with adult entertainment and amenities but also wonder about bringing kids.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
