Remembering Easter

For the first half of April I wanted to remember the joy of Easter Sunday. I feel like the events of Easter are the central core of our faith and we only really celebrate them for one day. While I was looking through my grandma's Bible for a verse, this one from Philippians 3 stood out to me. And obviously it stood out to Grandma too, because she underlined it.

Philippians 3:10 (NIV)
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection
and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings,
becoming like him in his death,

Just one of the many things I look forward to in Heaven, is sitting down with Grandma (hopefully with some of her awesome gingersnap cookies!) and discussing why she underlined the verses I have been trying to memorize this year. I wonder how many of my musings are correct and how many of my musings have her laughing out loud as I go off in completely random directions...

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
