Joyful Jumping, Wearing Green

Yesterday we went to church. I was thankful to not be teaching Sunday School and to have a chance to visit with other adults. Then our care group sang the offering song while Dave played piano. Zoe played the flute, which she has only been learning since September. I was super-impressed. It made me so happy to be singing with our care group. I just love them!

Then we headed off to Newmarket to visit with Mike, Jen and Will, Mark, Liz and Zachary, and Donny and Marika. It was such a fun afternoon. But I realized I rarely taken pictures of people having good conversations and hanging out. I'll have to work on that. I did get Jen to take the Family St Patrick's Day picture above, including me with my festive tights which I bought in Stratford the day before. Remember I mentioned I'd bought myself a present?!? Lots of people at church commented on the tights and it was fun to wear them. (Although annoying because they kept falling down.)

Jen made an awesome veggie lasagne for supper and the rest of us supplemented with garlic bread, salad and ice cream for delicious milk shakes. Yum yum yum!!! It was a great evening which Sam and Rachel finished off with jumping on Will's trampoline. I just love these pictures.
Rachel's taller than Sam! Ha ha ha :)

And I just love Rachel's feet in this one.
Plus her look of intense concentration!

  2. Awww, that looks like such a fun day! I love your tights...I noticed them before reading the commentary and was like "Look at her sporting the festive tights!" Haha! I have the same problem with tights and leggings. I love them, but they don't love me obviously. I am constantly trying to discretely pull them back up. Ha! I love that Rachel is even using a green paci. What a green family you have! And you probably notice that I didn't say we went to church yesterday in my post. I was going to take the boys, but then Eddie got called on a fire in the morning before I could finish getting ready and I just couldn't handle it. *Sigh*

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
