It's Week 41 of I Spy with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook. For the first time in weeks, I am actually linking up on the right day :) I feel like we're finally starting to get a bit of a handle on our fall routine and things are settling down -- just in time for Hallowe'en! Hahaha!!! Anyways, without further ado, here are my (somewhat uninspired, I must admit) pictures for this week.
{mess}
Our front yard, as seen from Sam's window, is such a "mess" right now. We've had a lot of rain, with more to come, but once it stops, we need to rake and mow and trim again.

{mystery}
I was pretty much all caught up on laundry on Monday after our three day weekend. How our family of four generates this many dirty clothes in four days is a complete "mystery" to me. Seriously!
{funny}
Sam found this acorn at church earlier this week. He has named it Bob and calls it his best friend. I think it's really "funny." Dave, whose dad is named Bob, finds it less funny :)
{your choice}
Curling up with a cozy sweatshirt, a cup of coffee-hot chocolate, and a good book on a rainy morning will always be "my choice"!
I am always amazed at how quickly the laundry piles up too! I love "Bob."
ReplyDeleteLaundry multiplying is a great mystery!!
ReplyDeleteI can't understand the amount of laundry or the amount of trash we produce over here. Especially when we are working out like we should be. I used to do my laundry on Sundays but have switched to Monday so I don't have to spend my day of rest running to the washer and dryer on repeat.
ReplyDeleteBob is a really pretty specimen!! One time my then 2 year old brother picked up acorns all afternoon...filled at least one brown paper grocery bag full.
My husband goes through so many clothes!
ReplyDeleteLaundry is endless...sigh
ReplyDeleteYes, laundry is like that - imagine how high the pile of 'odd' socks is behind that tree in the amazon forest (apparently that's where they all go). Amazing fungi and I think Bob is fun. CarolG
ReplyDeleteWe're finally starting to have falling leaves. Bob, the acorn, love it!
ReplyDeleteI always love how you interpret the prompts! I haven't done an I Spy in a while and need to get back into it.
