Oh look, I'm actually managing to get my I Spy posted on a Saturday for once. Go me :) As always, I'm linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook. And in case you're popping in just for this post, we're currently on vacation at my parents' house in Saskatchewan, so this is a vacation "I Spy."
{bliss}
{two of a kind}
Sam and Rachel get their own happy hour drinks and they enjoy drinking them at the island and laughing at my dad. They really are "two of a kind"!
{starts with B}
For those of you who have been around for at least a year, and have a really good memory, you may remember that my parents are hosting a bee farmer's hives. So I enjoy seeing bees on the flowers, gathering pollen. And clearly this "starts with 'b.'" (Also, discuss below -- what is the proper placement of the period in that last sentence??? I don't think I'm right.)
{beginnings}
This may not look like much but this is the "beginnings" of homemade ice cream! I think we're making it in my grandparents' 100 year old ice cream maker later this afternoon.
{your choice}
When I'm sitting on the deck, I love watching the hummingbirds at the feeders. You can see the hummingbird at the top right of the feeder in this picture. It is very hard to get a good picture of a hummingbird!
So that is what I spied this week. It's been a fun week!!!
So much fun in these! I hope the ice cream turned out great!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the highlights of your fun times here! Such fun and cute pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Looks like you're enjoying a wonderful vacation!
ReplyDeleteI also second guess myself with punctuation dilemmas like yours with the period and the quotation marks. I think with this one it doesn't much matter, but technically I think the period would go outside the quotation marks in this case. (I'm getting in English teacher mode for the start of school soon!)
What fun vacation photos! I bet that ice cream tastes amazing! And as far as I know you used the period right in that last sentence; it's supposed to go inside the quotation marks when it's the end of a sentence.
ReplyDeleteThe ice cream was DELICIOUS!!!
DeleteA nice selection to show off your week... loving those bees. Yes, the period comes after the quotation marks.
ReplyDeleteThat drink looks delicious! Love seeing everyone's interpretation of 2 of a kind.
