Project 366: Days 79 Through 92

Last week was crazy what with Sam's birthday (blog post coming soon), Easter Monday with both kids home, and heading off on a short road trip (more on that coming this week), so this is a two-week Project 366 catch up. Enjoy!

March 19, 2016 -- Sam was still feeling the St Patrick's Day love this day!
March 20, 2016 -- Rachel wakes up with some crazy bedhead!
March 21, 2016 -- Sadly, I took no pictures this day.

March 22, 2016 -- We each have our own LL Bean canvas bag. We love these things!
March 23, 2016 -- I missed taking pictures twice this week. Boo :(

March 24, 2016 -- The kids were checking out our iced-in back door the day of our crazy ice storm.
March 25, 2016 -- I caught the sunset and the icicles on the tree at work this day. All the trees and power lines in the city looked like this. It was beautiful but dangerous as the ice started to fall.
March 26, 2016 -- Rachel and I had fun making an Easter egg garland.
March 27, 2016 -- After our ice storm two days before, Easter was a gloriously warm day. Rachel enjoyed sitting in the sun and reading. What can I say? She's my mini me!
March 28, 2016 -- Sam and Dave were playing Dave's old Star Wars card game.
March 29, 2016 -- Sam's "7" is up. This is a Pinterest Project which has become one of our family birthday traditions. We make it out of pictures from the child's previous year and it's so fun!
March 30, 2016 -- Sam turned SEVEN this day!!!
March 31, 2016 -- Our car hit 100,000 km at the beginning of our weekend road trip. (More to come on our trip tomorrow, I promise.)
April 1, 2016 -- We toured our Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, our nation's capital, and the library was by far my favourite spot. I want to work here. Okay, honestly, I just want to live here!

  1. Can't wait to hear more about your road trip and everything you did. I'm hoping it was a great weekend.

  2. Absolutely nothing beats LL Bean! We don't have ours monogrammed, but we have every size from small to XL and we use them CONSTANTLY.

  4. Whew, those ice pictures really make me glad I am catching up on this like over two months later in June. Haha! Hmmm, I am really thinking I need to convince Eddie we need matching LL Bean bags. Haha! Brody was very excited his new school backpack arrived today, but I think he would love one of these bags. I love the number picture project and loved doing it this year for Mattox, but I don't know if I can keep it up yearly since I am not as good at printing out pictures. Sigh. And that notorious day when you hit the 100,000 mark (whether it be km or miles...haha!). Also, I am trying to mentally compute what 11 C is in F. I am terrible at conversions. And now to finally get to catch up on your national capital tour which I have been wanting to do for a while. ;-)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
