Charmed Childhood

Sometimes I wish I was a kid. I mean I know they have to go to bed early, eat foods they don't want to, and have very little control over their lives, but I was watching Sam and Rachel play on Sunday and thinking, "They have a great life." They played outside for almost seven hours and I think they enjoyed every second of it. Here are some of the highlights:
 water table fun
cooperative wagon play
experimenting with sidewalk chalk and water
being "Tire Twins" together
(their term, not mine!)
eating lunch in the backyard
snacking on freezies on the driveway

It all seems pretty good to me!

  1. Aren't you glad they are old enough to play together?? Looking forward to that day!

  2. Oh yes, don't our kiddos have THE LIFE? They don't even know how good they have it! Haha! And now I see what you meant on my picture of Brody eating his ice cream cone at the pool about "freezies" also being a sign of summer. :-)

  4. Aren't you so happy everyone can get out of the house and play all day outside (and keep the inside **relatively** clean?) Yay for summer!

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
