This was both a hard and inspiring book to read. Thistle has had a very hard life, much of it brought on by his circumstances. If you can get this book (I don't know how widely it's available outside of Canada), I highly recommend reading it. It hit a little too close to home sometimes, due to some of the experiences I had living with my siblings. (I wrote more about my siblings here, if you're interested.)
I loved this book. It was a fun rom-com about best friends who fall in love. Their relationship isn't perfect, but it's a fun one to read. This is the first book in a trilogy and I hope I remember to read the other two book when they're released.
Okay, this is our Blog Friends Book Club book (well, one of two) so I don't want to say too much about it before we've had a chance to discuss it. However, I LOVED it. You need to read this book. (I will try to remember to write more about it in my next book post, after we've had a chance to discuss it.)
I am almost done with another three books as I write this post so my next book post should be a little more robust. I'm glad that if I only got a bit of reading done, than at least I read three really good books.
You still crush all the reading- love it! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhen Sparks Fly is in my stack. I've heard everyone loves Once There Were Wolves, but I can't decide if I should try it!
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a comment to tell you I got your card, but I don't see it. But yours was the first one we got too! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWe are going to have so much fun talking about both books! Going to be some controversy!!!
ReplyDeleteSome fun titles!
ReplyDeleteI'm still so glad you were on Team Loves Wolves. :)
