I Spy: Week 40

I was so excited because I thought I would get this post done for Saturday. However, then I completely crashed after supper on Friday night and had no energy for blogging. Do you want to know how tired I was? I slept in until 10:30 yesterday morning. Ooops.

As you will see from one of the pictures, I am a little behind on a few things this week. Thankfully, we have a long weekend here in Canada, so I'm hoping I'll be able to catch up on things. We shall see... Anyways, as always, I'm linking up with Lysha at A Camera and A Cookbook for her I Spy photo challenge.

Let's Play iSpy 2021

 {wet}

I love how when it rains in the fall, the leaves keep a circle of "wet" around them on the sidewalks and paths after everything else has dried. I was trying to find a maple leaf because I think their patterns look really cool but all I could spot Friday on our walk was this one.

{numbers}

 Clearly, I need to finish our October calendar. All I've managed to do is get the "numbers" down for one week and a couple of events. I need to change the month label and get the rest of the calendar done.

{children’s book}

When I saw this "children's book" about Little Free Libraries, you can count on the fact that I borrowed it immediately!

{favorite}

My "favourite" meal is one I don't have to cook! Hahaha!!! Sam made his famous curried shrimp soup for supper and it was delicious.

{your choice}

The burning bushes along the path are just starting to change colours and I love when that happens so this is definitely my choice to share for the week.

  4. Such an interesting photo for "wet". Perhaps I don't often notice because our driveway isn't paved? How nice you have a helper to make dinner!

    1. I see leaves with the wet border all the time on our path, sidewalks, etc. Pretty much anywhere there are fallen leaves, moisture, and a hard surface.

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
