Project 364: Days 144 Through 150

May 25, 2014 -- After a day of yard work I finished it off with a board meeting and book club. However, it was the best board meeting ever because we got pedicures while we met!
May 26, 2014 -- Remember that time I made up a recipe? Well, it has been my go-to dish for potlucks this spring and, considering we hardly ever bring much home, I think it's been a hit. I also stick random things in it, depending on what I have on hand -- carrots, asparagus, and cucumbers were added to this one!
May 27, 2014 -- I put Rachel's hair in two full ponytails for the first time ever. I nearly died from the cuteness :)
May 28, 2014 -- Not quite three-year-olds have an awesome sense of fashion! And the ability to "not quite" dress themselves :)
May 29, 2014 -- When the kids finally stopped running around Target like maniacs and settled on these positions in the cart, Dave and I both breathed a sigh of relief. And when a Target employee, who was just doing her job, mentioned that the kids weren't actually allowed to ride that way, I might have said that I'd take full responsibility and didn't care if it was against the rules. At least the maniacs kids weren't destroying the store anymore.
May 30, 2014 -- I made another tea wreath. This time it was for my friend Jen.
May 31, 2014 -- We went to the MCC Relief Sale in the morning and Sam and Rachel spent a lot of time playing at this booth called "Change For Change." Basically, you donate whatever change you want to, and volunteers roll it up to be donated. I wrote about last year's Relief Sale here.

  1. I know I've said this before, but I love this project and I've finally decided to do it too. You'll see a post a little later this week. Is it just the lighting, or do your feet have tan lines? Mine always do. lol! Rachel looks so sweet in her piggy tails. Love it!

  2. Love that snazzy pedicure and Rachel's pig tails are ADORABLE! Also, she looks like she is either wearing a really tight mini skirt or she put two legs in one hole. Haha!

  3. Target employees....who apparently do not have small children. Or have never shopped with them. Sheesh. ;) (no offense intended to those employees.... :)

Thank you for being interested in my life as I blog it and for leaving a comment. Comments make me happier than reading a good book and drinking a cold Coke. Almost :)
